Default Danny MacAskill…incredible.

Whether you’re into bikes or not, this is just incredible to watch. New Danny MacAskill video dropped today.

Thank you. His bigger releases are always quite something but so are the little bits of stuff he releases in social media.

Friends who know or who've worked with him say he's a bicycle G.O.A.T. not just for those skills but also for being a genuinely good guy in ways lots of top athletes or stars are not. His small personal social media releases help make that believable.

It seems clear watching him, there’s just a joy around what he does and that irrepressible smile. Very likable character.

It’s worth checking out some of his older videos too, Cascadia in particular is pretty mind blowing

Having spent a lot of time on Skye clambering around the Black Cuillin, often on the end of a rope, I've always really appreciated the video above. You always start at sea level, and it's always a very long and often vertical way down should you slip up. Even a minor fall is unpleasant due to the rock being very coarse and abrasive gabbro, strangely grippy when climbing bit slippery in the wet. Here's a younger and reflective magirus in 2002 on Sgürr nan Gillean (Peak of the Young Men), before age, lethargy and fear took over
