Red face Guitar Project for School

Hi Everyone,
I'm in my last semester of college. I decided for a class project that I'm going to build a guitar. I figured I'd get good information from a guitar forum.

I didn't see anything in the rules against requesting participation in a survey, so would you do me a very big favor and fill out my survey on survey monkey?
It is only 10 questions and shouldn't take you very long.

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/LS8FJDC

If I put this in the wrong section, my apologies.

Thanks for helping me out,
Jamie

Took the survey. Didn't much like this question or see the point in it...

"If you were to become unable to play guitar (e.g.: lost a hand), would you sell or keep the guitar(s) you have?"

Maybe it has something to do with the project that we aren't privy to. I've had customers who have faced this painful decision.

I thought some people may not like the question. I thought for quite a while about including it. Too morbid? I'm not sure. I left it as an optional question for those that didn't like it or didn't feel comfortable answering it.

See explanation below.

I interviewed one of the professors on campus (guitar enthusiast) and when I asked what he looked for in a guitar, he said he sees them as a work of art; he likes them for both how they sound and the ambiance of having them around. If he lost his left hand, he would keep his current guitars and probably buy more. If he couldn't play them, he still likes the look of them. I was curious about other people's thoughts.
