I’ll tell you what tho, it’s been my experience that when there are several different guitar stands around to hang your axe on after playing, and there are several guitar players around, we all head for the Hercules first.

I wouldn't let this issue stop me from purchasing another Hercules. The plastic body pin seems so safe and secure, I won't bother Hercules unless/when the other stand fails. The height is something I set once and don't seem to think about again.

Has anyone had a successful replacement without providing their receipt? It’s been several years since I purchase mine and God only knows where the receipt ended up.

In order to begin processing your claim, please provide the following information: 1) Full Name 2) Address 3) Phone Number 4) HERCULES stand model number 5) Photo of the stand with problem visible 6) Serial Number (often located at the base of the stand, primarily on the legs or braces) 7) And please include a description of the issue." |

Happened to me too. It exploded into pieces, done with that company.
