Mandouche
A shameless plug for a record I did for a mandolin friend of mine. Or...not really, 'cause it's not for sale in quite some time anyway
We just had some fun making a little video while waiting, since that vinyl factory is somewhat busy these days... I'm mostly into music quite different from this, but I find it fun and stimulating to dive into different styles. Using a HD35 and a Taylor custom 12 fret on this. I looove this particular Taylor, but obviously the dreadnought gets the most use in this setting. |

For a minute there, I thought this was about a new male hygiene product.

Beautiful stuff. When and where will it be available?

Thanks! I think in January. He has no distribution for the vinyl so that will be private sale, or from a personal webpage maybe. Download, probably from most known places |

Sounds great. I want to buy the vinyl record when it's done. I loved the Schoeps mikes in the vid. About the vid: Very nice work there. Seeing the gear and playing added to the impact of the sound. To be honest, I didn't think the musicians' "look into camera" moments worked as well... also the repeating coffee pouring.
