I've never gotten through it. Tried twice I think, just didn't care about any of it. Had a boss who looked genuinely shocked and I think maybe questioned hiring me after I told him. He thought it was the greatest ever. I didn't hate it, it just did nothing for me.

A small science fiction film from 1985 called “Galaxy Invaders.” Absolutely dreadful.

Default Fists of Steel

OK. I was in it and it makes all the ones you mention here Academy Award material. I played a CIA officer who was murdered on the beach in Waikiki amidst a bevy of bikini clad beauties, and Carlos Palomino (middle weight world champion boxer from Mexico) was the hero. Henry Silva, who you may remember from the original Manchurian Candidate, was the terrorist villain. I knew it was bad and never watched it until I made the mistake of mentioning that I was in it to my students and they found it on line and played it, much to my eternal shame and embarrassment.

So, you in particular didn't have fists of steel? That's a shame.

I will agree Andy, the music was good ............................ before Mr Brosnan started singing it.

Now I'm waiting for Bruce to start the 'best film' thread.

Not the worst movie I've seen, but I find "Blade Runner" really boring.

Yes, unfortunately I actually saw this film at a theatre when it was released (unleashed on an unsuspecting public would be more accurate). There was nothing good about the experience. I found it unique in reaching a depth of stupidity and incomprehensibility which managed to render it immune to categorization in the usual "This is so bad it's funny" gaggle of films. It proved to be much more malignant than that, enveloping the viewer in an insurmountable miasma of artistic narcolepsy and near fatal boredom.

+1. I appreciate avant garde, strange and downright weird stuff, finding humor or some kind of entertainment in just about anything. Not so much with Staring at Goats.

Also can't seem to enjoy anything with Will Ferrell in it - all SNL's fault IMHO. John Belushi was charismatically hilarious on the show, even at his worst, a seemingly effortless deadpan genius. Dozens came along after him, attempting to pick up and carry the torch. But watching anyone trying too hard (at anything) just doesn't connect with me.

I'm willing to bet that the Kevin Costner movie version was more of a laugher than yours.
Costner version was bad but I don't remember seeing a ye olde casino in Nottingham with a roulette wheel like this 2018 version has - I kid you not! Is that a Las Vegas showgirl with purple feathers in the background on the left?

p.s. thanks to Silly Moustache for reminding me of 'Noah' with Russel Crowe - boy it was dumb.

Hard to pic just one

Obviously a number of low budget sci fi films .

But at the risk of stirring flames
Of some the bigger hits
Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs both come to mind. For me too realistic to be fiction, too bizarre to real... .... I realize Pulp has a strong cult following but for me personally Meh !!

Starship Troopers?!!! That's a great film if you don't take it seriously. But then again, sci-fi can be really divisive: I hated Arrival, which many raved over.

Boo and hiss. “Arrival” is probably among my top twenty, maybe even top ten favorite movies of all time.
