Absolutely, she practically invented country guitar and it would be easier to list country pickers not influenced by Maybelle. Two stand out; Chet Atkins who Maybelle hired and helped get a leg up at the Opry, and Doc Watson. Her picking, still up at Youtube is fabulous.
