Default Any Bee Gees fans here?

I love this trio when I was a teenager and still enjoy watching their old videos on YouTube. Sad that only Barry is left. I happen to watch a video (link attached) yesterday. Enjoy watching if you’re a Bee Gees fan.

I love and play some of the “Brothers Gibb” early material...before they turned disco. After that, I wasn’t really a fan. Barry’s constant falsetto became “fingernails on a chalkboard” for me.

I like almost all their songs pre-disco, disco and also the falsetto songs, especially "Too Much Heaven". Maybe it's not everyone's cup of tea. I thought Barry actually perfected the falsetto, much like The Tremeloes made "Silence is Golden" a beautiful song.

So for those who like the Bee Gees, here's Too Much Heaven.

And also "Silence is Golden" from The Tremeloes. Enjoy!

Yep, I was a Bee Gees pre-disco fan. Thanks for sharing.

I was 10 when Saturday Night Fever was released, so for a long time I didn't know there was a pre-disco Bee Gees.

I have a special fondness for their 1969 album Odessa. Some really nice acoustic guitar work and folky songwriting. I was never a fan of disco, but I confess to a guilty pleasure of loving their song Staying Alive. The fact that when I hear it I can visualize the hilarious dance scene (where the song is playing) from the movie Airplane! might have something to do with it.

Pre-disco and disco Brothers Gibb were obviously two very different sounds, but I've got admit that I enjoyed both. There was something very exciting about The Bee Gees disco era tunes that got my feet and body moving...

"How Can You Mend a Broken Heart" was one of the first 45's that I bought with my own money as a kid in 1971.

Love their music. A later song, Secret Love, is a big favorite of mine.

I appreciated their extraordinary ability to harmonize.

Later, Barry Gibb's collaborations with other artists didn't hurt their careers a bit.
Gibb and Barbara Streisand's "Guilty" was the best-selling of her 36 studio albums.

There were so many good songs written by Barry and Maurice over the years. I graduated HS in 1977 so right in the disco era. That was *never* my music, but it was where the girls were.....

There was a PBS tribute show to their music about 3-4 years ago, and it is stunning to hear all the titles that they were behind. You don't realize those were Bee Gee's songs.

Loved them pre-disco, and have actually developed an admiration for their disco-era work. This, though, is my absolute favorite Bee Gee's cover:

I played about half of SNF back in the day in a couple of bands. Does that count?
