So there you have it, Port and Sable. Guessing no one but yourself and perhaps Tom understands those two names.
Those are good names, Dru. Running with them, I might go with "Order of Good Cheer" -> "L'Ordre de Bon Temps" for the Port, and "Island Pony" for the Sable.

There's a few other Nova Scotians around here, and of course those places are easy enough to duckduckgo.

Well, er, um, I was just getting to that, and it's exciting!

First, the pride, glory, and personal satisfaction of knowing a guitar and player out there will forever be grateful for getting meaningful recognition.

Second, I will personally sign your guitar, in a style reminiscent of one of the many masters: JS Bach, Jimi Hendrix, my own huge font flair, your choice! You'll not be able to part with that one!

Third, since you picked the name, I will name your pick! I have some pretty, pretty special names saved up, just for this occasion.

It's a win-win-win situation, imho.

Just pass all the details on to Denny Zager. What more glory could a winner aspire to?

Ah, Denny. I wonder what he is doing at this exact moment. Probably crowning some frets, or reading a treatise on pick design. He should name all of his guitars, to give them that little extra sparkle of light as they leave his workshop.

I seem to recall you're a bit of a metal head, but Jimi was the best. You know he gave up a lot of the theatrics, or gimics, as some called them, later on.

He, and his guitar, were on fire at Monterey. What a concert. Just between you and me, I never really dug the burning of something he loved. But the legend remains.

You know, when I originally read your post, those names sounded vaguely familiar, but I didn't make the connection. I just liked the sound of them.

But now, after (re)listening to Great Expectations as an audiobook, it all became clear. I see you did your homework!

I think you were pulling my leg a bit, and who can blame you, as there are some better names to be found in that book, like:
Biddy's Wisdom / Joe's Loving Forge
Estella's Almost Lost Dreams / Abel Magwitch's File
No Shadow of Parting/ Pale Young Herbert "Fighting" Pocket

I can see why that came to mind. I had to refresh myself on the movie, which I think I saw, or at least some songs from it. I don't think I noticed before that the headstock was a skull.

Hey I inverted the guitar colors for a better match!
