That's the way I do it! Mine are named "The Taylor", "The 12 string", "The Yamaha", etc.

Keeps things simple and I just don't use human names for inanimate objects like my guitars, car or my TV.

Guitar 1 and Guitar 2 it is. ;-0

Some nice looking guitars. I have an Aria that I had for the last 12 years or so leading up to some recent guitar purchases. Not the nicest guitar, but it was a super cheap one. This Aria here looks quite nice! Didn’t know Aria made nice guitars like that.

Sounds like a hit tv series, where a small, reticent palour and a headstrong but loveable jazz-rock electric go around and solve musical mysteries.

Tonight's episode: Stolen blues riffs, part 1.

As I read through the thread I was surprised that no one had recommended “Bonnie and Clyde,” but then Silurian finally did.

Continuing on a theme of bank robbers and murderers, there’s also “Frank and Jesse” and “Machine Gun Kelly and Baby Face Nelson.” (If you choose those last two, I think we will all agree that the little black guitar should be Baby Face.)

You know, Hollywood has cranked out TV series with far more stupid premises than that. I’m thinking about “My Mother, The Car,” but the list is endless.

Did any of you ever try watching “My Mother, The Car?” I turned it on one time, for about five minutes.

Let’s just say it was no surprise when THAT show got cancelled!

Cancelled? More like switched off.

I never heard of it, Wade, but I just read the premise:

Quote:
The premise features a man whose deceased mother is reincarnated as an antique car, and she communicates with him through the car radio.
Sounds like the result of a bet between Stephen King and Sidney Sheldon where they both lost.

The thing to remember for this exercise is that you aren't giving a name to your own guitar, you're naming someone else's guitar. That's a lot more fun and risk-free!
