Here is a set that i have stashed away for when a A rustler asks for a guitar made of local Wood.





The dark wood is also mesquite of a different kind, known as Texas Ebony. Makes a fine fingerboard, bridge, binding, etc.

Smile "Texas ebony"

John used a Texas Ebony Fretboard on my last custom. I like it a LOT! Apparently it is super hard and durable as well as beautiful...

I believe we will do it again on my coming build. Unless he likes something else better with the woods...

That is very pretty wood in the pics!
