Default Sunday dinner?

Good morning. What's in your house for tonight's dinner? Irish Lamb Stew here.

Both my kids are here visiting this weekend! We made gyros last night, and have enough for leftovers today. Plus brownies my daughter baked.

We had fish the other night.
We never buy fish 'cause we don't know how to cook it.
But it wasn't bad.
Need more recopies...

Depends of they type of fish.

Coat with Teriyaki sauce and bake or grill.

Lemon juice, pepper, smother with onion and bake or grill.

I have some cut up pieces of chicken breast marinating in Teriyaki sauce, bake a potato, and steam a few veggies like broccoli, cauliflower, carrot. Tomorrow there will be enough left over to put on some rice for dinner.

Or you can try batter-frying it. It’s really quick and easy; let me know if you want details. I usually make codfish that way, but yesterday I used European bass (also called branzino in North America) and it came out great. I’ll probably have the remaining fillet tonight in a taco: corn tortilla, fish, avocado, red onion sliced razor-thin, cilantro and a cold beer or three.

A rack of baby backs, hickory smoked on the Traeger. Sauce TBD, but most likely something spicy tonight.

Served with my wife’s spectacular cheesy jalapeño grits.

BBQ Chicken on the grill - we use real charcoal! Little tater tots and broccoli to go with it.

Salmon, Steelhead.
We baked with salt, pepper and a shot of lemon juice.
I always avoided the fish at the meat counter before.
Now we want to try a few more recipes.

Saw one that uses brown sugar, sounds interesting...
