Generally speaking, a lot of what was happening mid-late last century was new, really creative and, well... interesting. Which sort of brings us back to YouTube videos showing people acting stunned with their mouths hanging agape like idle bug-zappers when they seem to be hearing massive mega-hits for the first time.
