Final week-end of the season and I'm just not into it. What a quick season.
Rooting for the Cards this week-end for Kerbie. Hard to believe they made it this far given the way it all started. I read that they may have to play a game or two in Detroit on Monday (after the season ends) depending on how they end up in the standings since they've played less games than everyone else. |

The Brewers (with a losing record) back into the post season with a Phillies and Giamts loss. I can't see them going too far, they've been so inconsistent this year, but I'll sure be watching.

Wow, Houston was one of two sub .500 teams that made the playoffs and they swept the Twins. How can a team lose 18 consecutive playoff games? That's over 16 years so it's not as if it's the same players.
Things aren't looking good for the Blue Jays in the 9th. |

Cards 7, Padres 4 in Game 1 in San Diego. And we've got Wainwright on the mound tomorrow and Flaherty in game 3.

Yankees Sweep Indians. Cleveland pitching got hammered. Took an 8-7 lead in the ninth and lost. Looks like I'm a Tampa Bay fan now. |

I didn't realize that Atlanta hadn't won a playoff series in 19 years and had lost 10 consecutive playoff series before this win.

Not a good day for fans of the Redbirds. Now Kerbie’s gotta join Dru and me in figuring out whom to root for.

Ain't that the truth, Jim. For now, it's Tampa Bay. Next round it'll be someone else. Wish that there was hockey now but glad there's the NFL.

Tampa Bay beat the Yankees last night for the series win. Ironic on how the game winning home run was hit ... same batter/pitcher (Brosseau / Chapman) as what resulted in the 9th inning bench clearing brawl a couple months ago.
I have no interests in any of the teams left. I think I'll root for the Dodgers and Mookie. |

It was a great game. Might as well root for Tampa. World Series and Stanley Cup in the same year would be a cool notch in the belt!

To all who watched the Rays / Astros yesterday; the minute the Rays did not get a run home in the top of the 9th, you just KNEW that Houston was going to win in the bottom half as a walkoff! Great game all the way around - the series is on now! Altuve is going to need a shrink after this series, even when it goes right it goes wrong for him - gotta feel for the guy!

What about the Dodgers? Behind 3-1 in the series. Two must win games tonight. |
