Default What custom guitar commissions are you expecting delivery on in 2017?

Unbelievably, 2016 is nearing completion and 2017 is now less than a month away. I suspect that a number of fellow AGFers have had some custom guitar(s) commissions in the queue for quite some time that we may see here in the AGF Custom Shop in 2017.

What type of guitar(s) are you expecting and from which luthier(s) will we be seeing here in 2017?

I have added a list that I will update from time to time based on responses so far through Dec 21:
2 - Mike Baranik
1 - Michael Bashkin
1 - Mario Beauregard
1 - Julius Borges
2 - Jayson Bowerman

Not really an individual luthier commission, but I Just got the tracking number yesterday for a custom order from Furch. It is from their traditional dreadnought series but has some of the millenium series features, such as a cutaway with a contemporary burst as well as the contemporary style gold and ebony tuners. It also has an alpine spruce top.
I think that will be it for the next year or 2.

My luthier, Jakob Poljakoff, will start building my OM guitar beginning of 2017. She is next on the list.

I have a 12-fret jumbo cutaway in German spruce and Brazilian on order from Leonardo Buendia. The build is due to start in Feb. with a completion date sometime in late spring. I'll start a build thread when we're underway.

Leo will be part of our Luthiers Exhibit at Guitar Week and this guitar will be available for folks to try out. Here's a Photoshop mockup of what it will look like.

I have a very special Modified Dreadnought coming from Ervin Somogyi's current apprentice, Tom Sands. I'll start a build thread when it's time... for now, I'm very excited as this will be my first guitar for several years.

Cheers,
David

John Greven is working on a maple/sitka 0000, short scale. Should see it in January I'd guess.

This may not qualify in some folks minds, but I have a Pono D-20 Sunburst coming in January that has been on order since August.
It is being built to my specs and John does "build to order" with real luthiers
so I say it counts.

i am going to have Howard make another guitar. Specs need to be decided but I am thinking Mahogany, 12 fret 000, cutaway, wedge, bevel.

undecideds include scale length(s?), top wood, et al.

This is going to be one heck of a year coming up. I can't believe 2016 is almost at a close.

Build #1 - Baranik Super Meridian with Adirondack spruce top and Tasmanian Blackwood back and sides. Some time in the summer perhaps.

Build #2 - LeGeyt CLM with Adirondack spruce top and Brazilian rosewood back and sides. Next fall.

Build #3 - Brondel A-1c with Adirondack spruce top and pernambuco back and sides. Mid summer.

Build #4 - Circa OM-18 with Adirondack spruce top and mahogany back and sides. Possible that this one won't come until 2018.

Holy smokes!

I'm revved up just to get one custom--the mahogany Hatcher Josie.
