Really like the contrast of the binding and the bevel with the coco on this one. Beautiful instrument!

Really like the contrast of the ebony armrest-binding-purfling against the englemann top.

This thing is becoming a beaauuuuty. I'm watching this progress with great interest...

Neck now rough shaped and ready for peg head overlay and fingerboard.

Sanded to rough thickness at 1st and10th fret

There is something almost magical to see a neck come out from wood block.

That headstock shape is so elegant and graceful there is no way I'm not getting one for my guitar.

Jean it is a digital indicator I use it on the straight edge to set the neck angle. It is a copy of this one from StewMac http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Tools/Sp...Set_Gauge.html

It has been a while since I posted any updates on this build. The body neck and bridge are completed and once final detail sanding and bridge location is established it will be ready for finish application.
