Default Tears in Heaven with nylon-string guitar

Hello friends,

I'm a new member to this fantastic forum and I'd like to introduce myself with this video, an arrangement by H. Sato of Tears in Heaven.

I hope you like it.

Well Done! It's a great arrangement. I remember learning that song 20 years ago when it came out, but not nearly as well as you play it.

... and Welcome to the AGF!

Thank you Dru Edwards!

You are lucky, I started playing classical guitar twenty years ago but I never played pop/rock music with it until now and I love it!

Now I mostly play film themes, famous songs by popular bands (Beatles, Metallica, Queen, Bob Marley...) instead of classical music and I'm much happier now!

With your technical ability, have you thought about composing your own material?

Hi Mark,

I love composing! but my composition skills are not that good, so I prefer playing songs that move me.

Also I prefer composing orchestral music rather than guitar music, maybe because I'm more critical of guitar music than other music

Well, just make sure that this is an objective statement - A lot of people that compose their own material don't like it when it is actually outstanding. You play with enough sensitivity that if I was a betting man I would wager that you write pretty good stuff.

It's all about being happy my friend so play the guitar you want and the music you want. Post a Metallica song if you can

Thanks Mark,
people say my own material is good enough but I think that songs by those great musicians are much better! So I want to record a few songs before I upload a composition of mine, but your words are much appreciated!

You are right, Dru Edwards, It's all about happiness!

I will record a Metallica song someday soon, after I record a few songs I want to record first (Amelie's movie theme, Bohemian Rhapsody, Game of Thrones' theme)

I've just uploaded a new video to youtube, here is the link:
