Default Deposit paid to Emerald...now the waiting begins!

Just paid my deposit today for a black X20 Artisan, but with a few minor custom touches...chrome 510 tuners and satin finish on the back side of the neck.

Now the agony of waiting for it. Since this one isn't a full custom, I'm only a few weeks out on it.

Been wanting one of these for quite a while, so I can't wait to see how it compares with the Ovations and few Taylors that I've experienced in the past.

Congrats- I bet you’re gonna love it. The x20 is also on my radar but would prefer a 12 fretter with no up charges .

Congratulations! I hope you're as happy with it as I am with mine.

Congrats on a ordering a wonderful guitar ! You'll probably need some of Todd's sake before it's all over.

Good choice and congrats. Since getting my X20, most of my others have seen very little playing time, including several really nice Taylor guitars. Even my other CF guitars are semi-retired (Rainsong, Blackbird) - love those bevels! As I have said on other threads, I would be happy if the X20 were my only guitar. Plus my X20-12. Plus my wife's X7.

They shoot all finishes as gloss, then use sandpaper to make the neck satin. And swapping out tuners is a quick and easy process. So hopefully you won't have to wait too long. [fingers crossed]

I believe that 'kramster' is actually the word for 'helper' in some obscure Eastern European language.

Here, let me kramst you with that.

It's actually Lithuanian for "catalyst." If I put two atoms of hydrogen and one atom of oxygen together with a kramster, I'll produce a carbon fiber guitar and water....

I think New2 is suggesting that someone here is a Pokey Man. Do pokey men have their own language?

I did the Hokey Pokey by mistake once (not Gumby's sidekick equine)... Think I'll play my X 20 now... or maybe a nap is in order after all this I have been dragged into.
