Agreed. It also seems that the comparison is not only quantity, but quality. In that gear forum their focus seems to be on quality of gear without much emphasis on quality of instruments, and here we seem to focus on quality of guitars and often times are looking for the cheap and easy recording solution.

After this picture was taken I donated the small jumbo to my local High School and picked up these later in the year.

Here's my hoard...self admitted Martin fanboy...funny thing is I've only been playing around with acoustic guitar for about a year...
Trying cut it the collection down to just those instruments that I really 'love' like my Deering Artisan and Goodtime. In my mind I'd like to cut it down to 3 or 4. Anyway, I have a Gretsch 9521 inbound and a F hole Dobro Hound Dog I'm trying to sell. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Martin DJR Sunburst and my 000-15M. Those are definitely keepers... |

Typical '60s folk music guitar. Easiest to record. Rear left 00-28C, Slightly bass-heavy, strong midrange, weaker trebles Rear inside left 000-28C Mushy, unfocused sound. Weak. Rear inside right 000-28C Very strong throughout, good dynamic range Rear right 000-28C Even dynamics, slightly weaker than inside right Last edited by H165; 06-26-2019 at 06:02 PM. |

Hey jas, tell me about your Langdell guitar. How does it sound? Pete used to work on my guitars. He's a great guy! |
