Interesting timing on this thread. Tony Polecastro recently did a whole hour-long segment on the J-45. I watched it this morning. The link is below.
Near the end of the video he also recommends five different guitars out there that he thinks capture the mojo of that iconic instrument. I'll leave you in suspense on that. His recitation of that list starts around the time-split 32:15. In that video, he also announced -- and showed the trailer -- for a new documentary coming out ALL ABOUT THE J-45. So cool. sm
