Smile Looking for other songs in DADF#AD

Was in a playing slump for a while and have broken through by FINALLY learning to play "Little Martha" by the Allman Brothers.

I can play it to speed and it has inspired me!

I'll try to post a you-tube clip this week to show off a bit....

But in the meantime, does anyone have any other songs in DADF#AD that I can learn?

Thank you!

I too, just learned "Little Martha" The parts that I thought were going to be hard turned out to be the easy parts, and the parts that sounded easy turned out to be the hard parts. Maybe I should try playing it on a faucet...

I just (finally) figured out Dylan's "Buckets of Rain" that I think is played in Open D, Capo II on Blood on the Tracks.

Here is one tab: http://dylanchords.info/16_bott/buckets_of_rain.htm

I have another more complicated version -- not sure which is closest to the original -- and if you PM me I'll get it to you.

Mike Dowling does a version of the blues tune "Trouble In Mind" in Open D on his instructional DVD with Pat Donahue.

Of the tunes I play in open D, "Little Martha" is one of them, also. Cool tune. One of the others is Peppino D'Agostino's "Bella Donna". It's a bit tougher. Well, quite a bit tougher, actually. But fun. The tab is here:

A short clip is here, the first cut on the album:

Leo Kottke also plays a ton of tunes in open D. This is an impressive resource for his music. Click on the midi version to hear what the tune sounds like. If you like it, print the tab or find it published.
