SOLD Martin 000-28 Ambertone Custom Shop
Up for your consideration is a Martin 000-28 Ambertone Custom Shop guitar. Per the serial number, this was built in 2014. I got this on a trade a few months ago and need to let it go due to new incoming guitar. It’s got a wonderful, full sound, great intonation, and very comfortable action.
I’ve taken 2 pics of the only “dings” I could find. They are not through to the wood… just the gloss finish. To be entirely transparent, the only other issue is that, along the grained ivoroid binding at the lower bout waist, you can hear a click/catch with a fingernail, a slight discrepancy in height between the binding and the rosewood. I tried to photo this (see pic) but it is not observable – only felt as described - (on the pic, there is no darkening of the binding at all….it was just hard to avoid the light shadowing).
