For Sale: Martin OM-15 Custom with K&K Pure Mini - $1200 Shipped

This is one of the good ones. Bought from Ted at LAGS in 2014, it has been a dream guitar in every way. Martin mahogany guitars are something special, and this custom line takes things up a notch by adding the tortoise binding and widening the nut width to 1 3/4”. This guitar is made from genuine mahogany and not the Sippo that Martin is using now.

The guitar has been very gently used, there is only one minor flaw across the lower bout that I tried to capture in the photos, and the notorious finish shining that happens over time. I had a K&K pure-mini installed professionally and it sounds fantastic plugged in.

I’m not 100% sure I want to part with this guitar. But been feeling a little restless and getting that burning sensation in the loins telling me it’s time to try something new.

I just noticed that there is an area in the groove between the upper and lower bout where the tortoise binding has pulled away just a sliver. Not very noticeable, I’ll try to capture a picture of it and post it later on.

Here is the area where the binding is slightly lifting. Its barely noticeable, and I’m sure an easy fix - but I don’t have any repair shops around me that I would trust to do the work.
