Default The $1100 gigbag

Ok, it's leather. It's nice. But gigbags nearly the price of caltons?

The problem is - I think I want one.

And get one for your electric rather than your bass guitar, and it's ONLY $925 https://www.anthologygearwear.com/co...lectric-guitar...

Won't comment on the price, but to be fair it is a soft-case IMO, not a gig-bag. Either way, I've got better things to do with my money. Most of my guitars cost less than that!

Hey, so the headstock will stick out the top - but I'll be saving $200!

Straps from $89 and up? Definitely a specialty market!

Pricey but they look nice, one man's floor is another man's ceiling.

I have of one of their straps. Is it a good strap? Yes. Definitely. Is it worth $89 dollars? Eh, it depends. If (you are like me and) you use BlueChip and Red Bear picks, and you appreciate nice accessories, then yes, although there are other nice straps available (Sully’s Straps are custom made from reclaimed leather).

Interesting as I have been considering a strap from them. I'll check out Sully and would appreciate any leads on any other high quality leather straps.

I have mostly used straps from Sully’s Straps. They are very distinctive, a thin leather strap with a thicker, wider piece of leather for the shoulder piece. They are very high quality; the stitching is impeccable, the leather is soft and supple, but without much padding.

A wildcard in the whole strap game is the KLIQ air cell strap. Unbelievably comfortable for long periods of time, but they are neoprene and have a very modern look to them.

The great thing about Sully’s Straps is that the leather he uses is reclaimed and therefore naturally worn.

I guess I'm just a bit too pedestrian, but I can't imagine features that would make a gig gag worth $1,100.

Just ordered one of their straps so we'll see.
The price is one thing but what really turns me off is their goofy ad copy.

I was thinking the same thing. This fellow must be an ex J. Peterman or Patagonia copy writer. Or maybe both.
