Default Woke up to snow this morning

Sigh. An inch of snow on the ground. Looking forward to some nicer weather soon. I just got my snow tires taken off my car 2 days ago.

I imagine many of you have much more snow that an inch.

Hey Drew,
Some parts of the state got 8" of snow, but fortunately a lot less towards the east.
Still, it was a little depressing yesterday morning when I pulled up the shades and saw this:
Color photos in April aren't supposed to turn out black and white!

We got about 4 or 5 inches yesterday, but it only accumulated on the grass. Roadways and driveways remained bare. I woke up this morning and the snow was gone. Ah, spring in the NE. Now back to 60 degrees.

I found a picture I took of my wife standing in deep snow holding a sign that read: April 10, 1996 - 20 inches! We’ve moved to a lower elevation in MA since that photo was taken, and get much less snow, but you never know.

Andre, worst part is that it's too warm to maintain an outdoor rink!

Default What?

Snow? After 46 years of living out here in California(Detroit escapee) I'd forgotten that snow still falls in Spring. This may sound strange to you Northern people, but I miss it! Right now I wake up to an inch of freshly fallen flower pollen from my citrus trees

View from the Master Bath ( note the fox tracks in the snow below the icicle's )

They belong to this guy/gal one of the two (we think are mated pair) that regularly come by and get a little bowl of dog food

I kinda already miss winter. It’s been raining a lot, but warm. I have several projects going at once and it’s been a nightmare trying to find time to get the tractor out and mow.

I am *SO* jealous! It's been pushing 90° F here for about 4-6 weeks and I'm ready for winter!

Forecast says will be 26 C (79 F) here today. It will a tee shirt and shorts day.. But we could be into a week of rain again soon, too early in the season to rejoice.

I woke up to this, about 7" of wet snow.

(Central Colorado at el. 8500'.)

But now it's 4pm and it's almost gone already.
