This household is all in Leafs. When I shared with my wife the Maple Leaf and Canadian matchup her words were "Just like old times, been too long".

I grew up in Montreal in 50's and 60's, so....a Habs fan. Bruins hater. Perhaps more than even the Leafs.

Just kidding. It's all good. Nice to have playoff hockey.

Well, Bruins down 1-0 in the series. I wonder if Anderson will start game 2? He only played in 4 games this year and came in for the win last night in relief.

I thought Anderson played well last night, especially given the circumstances. The injury to Vanecek looked pretty serious, and the Caps other goalie, Samsonov, IIRC is currently unavailable due to Covid protocol, so I'm thinking that Anderson's chances of starting game 2 are pretty good.

Last night's contest was a hard fought, intense playoff game. Although Dale Hunter smirks confidently when I grudgingly say it, the Caps overcame some serious adversity to earn the win.

Whenever a cold replacement goalie comes into a game it's feast or famine. Anderson saved the day.
