Choosing my words carefully here...

A list such as I previously referenced usually contains truly great examples, those that have had some sort of monumental impact, and/or are favorites of the most ardent fans. I could have also titled it "essential country music" or something to that effect. That search yielded far more real country music.

Mea culpas are in order for going too hard and fast from one extreme to the other.
