Martin. Had a D-28 for many years and didn't realize (for my taste) I could do much better.

For me it’s Gibson acoustics. I have tried many from older B models to Song writers Hummingbirds, J15 J45. I even had a friends J45 studio for a weekend and played it till my hands hurt. I just couldn’t warm up to the tone. There is something that just sounds restrained to me in most Gibson’s. It’s disappointing because they are beautifully made and aesthetically pretty guitars.

Dreads.
Every dread I've owned. I just can't get into them, no matter how awesome they sound. I guess it's a 'feel and fit' thing. Some were off-the-charts exceptional...but spent little time in my home. I think the GA/OM/000 size is my sweet spot.
