Default Sean Connery RIP

Many roles throughout a long career.

The definitive Bond for me.

The definitive Bond, yet he refused to be typecast by the role. More than that, he was the definite "man" for millions. Great loss.

Sad to hear, but at least he went peacefully in his sleep. Greatest Bond ever!

While I thought he was the best James Bond, my favorite Sean Connery movies were The Rock and The Presidio. In my sleep is the way I want to shuffle off this mortal coil. Rest In Peace, Sir Sean...

I hadn't heard. Aside from James Bond, I liked him in The Rock and The Hunt for Red October.

RIP Sean.

I have been watching many of Sean Connery's movies lately. He was one of my favorite actors. So sad to see him go.

So sad to hear the news about his passing. What an actor!

RIP. I shall be enjoying one shaken, not stirred tonight in his honor.

Dru, I loved him in Red October though his Russian accent was a little questionable!

One of the few actors that could compel me to see a movie without regard to subject matter. He was James Bond to me, and no other. Tonight I'll watch my favorite Sean Connery movie in his honor: The Man Who Would Be King

RIP Sir Sean.

Great actor, and the definitive Bond, the standard by which the others are measured. Sad to hear of his passing, I genuinely enjoyed his work.

Still, at this time I can’t help but recall a Playboy interview where he advocated slapping women around. First wife said it happened to her. Never walked those comments back. So no, not a real man, in fact a pretty twisted person to espouse that kind of thing. People are complicated, but no hero or role model of mine. Maybe he came to his senses as his next marriage lasted 45 years. Hope so.

"Bond, James Bond..."

Sean Connery was James Bond - others may have played the role, but there will never be another...
