As usual I am a bit slow with my updates here in the forum but I am busy at work instead.
So here are finally some pictures of the closed boxes.
The guitars are now at my finisher so you will get more pictures of the guitars in the white soon.

Here are some pictures of the Walnut OM-C and Madagascar RW MD-C in the white.

Thank you for following along.

And finally my favorite detail on the MD-C... the backplate of the headstock is made out of a big piece of lichen which gives a very special and natural look.

Fascinating. How do you actually preserve and transfer the lichen?

Those are beautiful enough in the white, and I can’t wait to see how the finish brings the colors out! Walnut, especially, really pops when the finish goes on. Great work! Dave

100% elegant, which highlights the beauty of the tonewoods.

Thank you. I removed the lichen from the dried bark. Then puzzled it to a bigger piece and glued it to a piece of wood which was removed after stabilizing it with epoxy resin. Quite a bit of work but it was totally worth it.

Thank you Colins! This is exactly what I tried to achieve with my designs. Glad to hear that it worked out.

During the past few weeks I was busy building the next two boxes.
I found that in terms of consistency in the voicing and attention to detail I prefer to build two guitar at the time.

The next two guitars are another OM-C, this time with an even shorter scale length of 24.75". It features a nice bearclaw Swiss Spruce top and 5,000 year old black Oak for the back and sides. Additionally it has a micro bevel and a sound port. The inlays are made of the stone phyllite and will really pop under the finish.

The second guitar is an MD Baritone.
This one is pretty much based on the one I built for Don Latarski. So it features a bearclaw Swiss Spruce top and quilted Mahogany back and sides, an arm bevel and a Manzer wedge. The scale length is 710mm.
If you are not familiar with my baritone guitars yet, you can give it a listen here:

Thank you Tom!

A couple of weeks ago I was able to deliver the Birdseye Maple 00 12-fret and a Brazilian Rosewood OM-C to their owners. Here are a few pictures of the finished guitars.

Thank you Dennis!

Since the Birdseye 00 was commissioned through Dream Guitars there is a video of Al Petteway with it.

And while I am waiting for some guitars to come back from my finisher I started the next two guitars which will both go to The North American Guitar once they are finished.

The first one is a rather special OM-C in 'The Tree' Mahogany paired with a lovely, creamy Swiss Moon Spruce top.

And the second guitar is a 00-C in the 12-fret version in Tasmanian Blackwood.

Thank you for following along.
