Default "Englishman in New York" by Sting - Solo Guitar

Hey
Improvised arrangement here - liked the fact that this song had an ad lib solo section so just played this all ear!
Hope you like

Steve

Wow. Very nice. Your skills are quite enviable. I really like how you play with such emotion. Most especially, I like how you make each piece look so easy, like it comes so naturally, you didn't even need to practice.

.....

Holy cow Steve; that's totally nuts. I loved it.
You have a very unique sound; also I don't know many guitarists that play like you or as good! It's amazing there are people out there like you doing this, pardon my expression but who are virtually unknown! Maybe they know you in Dublin? They should.

Amazed

Thanks Sage - very kind! I do practice all the time but thesedays I can just run with a tune from ear sometimes; this one only has three chords in the main part so you can kinda wing it! It was fun to do and glad you liked it - didn't know how it was gonna go down! It's bit freestyled!

Ahh thanks Dan!
I do some corporate (wine tastings and the like) gigs in Dublin but am not well known. I'm still working on my techniques and style trying to build a youtube status but its hard so many excellent guitarists out there.
I've been watching Ewan Dobson and although a lot of his stuff is very samey he has one tune "I Know you Pain" - which is stunning and incredibly difficult to play - I transcribing it at present...might be a while.

Steve,

Love the tune and loved your version even more than Sting's. That's one of my favorite Sting numbers... great rhythm, very jazzy. I really appreciate that one... thanks for sharing with us.

That was excellent Steve. You play the guitar with a wonderful freedom and fluidly that I love and strive for.

On a side note - are you familiar with the song "Carinhoso"? It is one of my favorite 'Latin' melodies and I would love to hear your interpretation.
