Default Fujii Braz/Euro Mod D

Other than JH Chang, I've never seen any of Kohei Fujii's guitars here. I thought I'd post some pics of mine.

I've had this for awhile now and the thing sounds really big and full.

Wow, that's awesome! Not everyday you see a dread with a Ryan Arm Bevel...and with the flutes, even! Great stuff, thanks for sharing.

Thanks Brad and Funkstarfish.

A beveled dread may not be everyone's cup of tea. I like it though. Most importantly, it sounds really good.

I thought that Ryan had patented the acoustic flutes. It says it right on his site. Oh well. Very nice guitar!

Sage - what an amazing guitar! As fantastic as it looks I'm sure it plays and sounds even better. I really like those sound holes.

I was unable to find a website for Kohei Fujii. Does he have one?

Thank you Joel. This one retains some of the traditional class than the one you made me which is more modern elegance.

Thank you geordie. Will post clips soon. I just wish I could play better to justify the guitar's voice. I typically have to hide my playing flaws with my own vocals.

Here are some youtube vids (not me) but these are plugged in. JHChang has some unplugged recordings using the Zoom H4n. Let's see if he chimes in oon.

The guitar sounds fantastic. He says in his blogspot that he has been building part time since 1995.

http://www.kfguitars.blogspot.com/

This is not on the blogspot but he has told me that he was friends with, worked with and taught by the late Taku Saka****a before his untimely death two years ago. This is where his lutherie training comes from. He also has a Dr. of Engineering degree and tells me that he designed several guitar pedals and pre-amps for Smoky Signal Audio. He currently works as a design engineer for Microwave Technology and no they don't make kitchen appliances like I initially thought.

Not sure if the blog has his email address but I can give it to you if you wish.

The flutes are in fact patented.
Not sure what Kevin will think of this...
