Thanks Karl!

There are so many wonderful builders that its diffcult to pick just one. I've considered Joel for quite a while now and Hen's, Laird, A0279... and your threads helped my decision.

I don't know why I can post pics in someone else's thread but not on mine. I give up.

You are posting HTTP links rather than IMG tags.

Hi Sage,
I think I missed something. Is this an Auditorium or a Grand Auditorium style body? By the way, I wouldn't be the least bit worried about the top looking too "wild". I think it looks awesome with the Brazilian. Not even close to being a crazy looking guitar. Besides, once you hear how it sounds, you're not going to care what it looks like. Can't wait to see the finished product, Tom

Looks wise, this is certainly going to be out of my norm. I like wild looking B&S but I prefer for the front to look clean. This will be my Mr. Hyde guitar.
Absolutely not too crazy. I think my top on Burner #10 and yours are relatives. It looks like a work of art.

Hi Tom.

It is an Auditorium. Can't wait to see it and play it.

They could be cousins. Stehr and the Burners sure are very artistic with their creations. Joel (Stehr) emailed me the other and jokingly said, "Now if we can get this thing to sound halfway decent, we might be in business."

As a fellow coffee lover, he is sending me some coffee beans that he specially roasted for my birthday yesterday. So I told him that if this lutherie gig doesn't go too well, maybe he and I can go into the coffee business.

Thanks Laird. Problem is I'm an idiot and have no clue how to fix it.

Finally....I got these pics to work. It pays to read the instructions.

More pics from Joel.

I guess the chocolate Braz and the sinker go well together.

Can't wait to see her in person. Joel says she's much purtier than these pics.
