Help with cords and key? Desperadoes Waiting For a Train
Guys. Want to do this a week from tomorrow in my set.
Is Jason Isbell doing this capo4 in key of D?

One of my favorite Guy Clark tunes, this is a sweet version. I think he's playing in an open tuning though, maybe D or E capo'd up. I don't have my guitar in front of me or I'd try to figure it out. I like that he made it his own version too.

Nevermind, he's in Drop D tuning (I think). You can tell by how he's fingering the G chord at the 5th fret and doing that descending bass run down after the lines in the chorus.

I agree (although I've only been playing around with it too). DADGAD capo 4.
