I used to have a Martin CEO-7 with K & Ks installed that I ran through a Fishman Spectrum Aura. It was a perfect set up as it sounded great and worked like a charm. I sold the CEO and now have a Waterloo WL-S Deluxe. I set up like I used to with the Fishman and it all sounded terrible. I went strait to the amp and the Waterloo sounds great through my Fender acoustic as it sounds exactly like it does acoustically. So there you go.

I go with my K&k guitars ==> Boss TU-3w ==> Boss equalizer ==> and then into three mini pedals (reverb, delay, and boost) before out to a Bose stick. It works well. That TU-3w is a match.

I did trial and error a lot. I wanted so badly to like my Fishman aura spectrum, and Baggs Venue... I just couldn’t get a natural sound.

The three most natural sounds for my K&k were

Orchid Muting Di
Red Eye Fire Eye
And this Boss TU-3w

Good luck. Sometimes you get to a point where you didn’t even know what you hear anymore. The mind is tricky.
