Default Petros #2 Progress Pictures

Hi guys, here are pictures of my second Petros guitar. It's a Tunnel 13 FS, 12 fret with cutaway. It looks pretty similar to the one Diamondave has being built, but I thought that some of you (*ahem* Mmmaak! *ahem*) might still want to see the pictures anyway, so I'm posting some of them here. Bruce has been very accommodating with my requests.

I'm going to keep this in a custom Karura case (with interior velvets I bought myself and sent to Karura) in a custom Colorado Case Cover. Pictures will be posted once I get them.

I've always wanted to try a 12-fret guitar....and it has a cutaway....and it's a Petros! You're such a pal

Say, can I have a spare engraved tuner button as a souvenir?

By the way, which artists play Petros guitars? I know Olsons, Ryans, Lowdens, etc. have associations with certain well-known players. What about Bruce?

Hi Mmmaak, what a surprise . . . . it was no problem posting the pictures.

The buttons seem like a fair amount of work, so I don't think there will be any spares.

Jim Cole and Macyn Taylor play his guitars. Jim Cole used to play Olsons. Kinloch Nelson recorded himself playing a few of Bruce's guitars but I don't know if he has one or has one ordered. There's also this guy named Richie Furay who seemed like he was quite famous some years ago. Sorry, I'm relatively young compared to these guys so I'm not too familiar with them. I just like the guitars.

Well, you can't blame a guy for trying, eh?
hmm....but aren't they machine made/laser cut?

I'm pretty young myself (at least compared to the average AGFer), and quite frankly, I don't think I've heard of any of them either

But with a guitar that looks like that, what do we care who plays 'em?

I've been trying to figure out how they do that . . . but I'm quite sure that most of the button is still made by hand. Laser leaves burn marks where they cut.

This guitar's already finished, here's some overdue pictures. I'm picking it up sometime in December. I've been talking to Bruce Petros about this particular build since September last year, which lead to my first visit to TAMCO.

Oh yes, if you're reading this, Mmmaak, I haven't forgotten about you. When I bring the Petros guitars home to Malaysia, you're going to get an e-mail from me.
