I looked at all the choices I had for "smiles" and none of them were drooling. Just wanted to let you know how completely envious I am.

Default It's here!!!!!

And I am so excited. The guitar is so much nicer in person than in pics. The guitar also sounds pretty amazing with long sustain, clear notes, and punchy bass, just a really balanced sound. How to describe it... I have not been this excited about something in a long time!! Trevor's really an artist and a real craftsman. This is a truly "sonorous beauty". I will keep this for a long long time... Here are some pics, ok, a lot of pics...

Ameritage Custom Case (it has a compartment for either a humidifier or a "drier", and has a built-in hygrometer). Very luxurious feeling, and would be ready to take a good beating.

A beautiful blend of colorful wood...

Bloodwood, burl maple, koa, and ebony

Vine inlay

Back with sap

Koa-bound soundhole and flamed koa binding all around

I love the back of the headstock with the split cocobolo backstrap with the maple and bloodwood going through it...

Another shot of the back

Soundhole with a view of the LR Baggs iMix installed

Clear view of the Bear-claw

Headstock with Coco with Sap and special K logo in Spalted Burl Maple

Tail-piece

Hey PangPang, your new guitar is beautiful! I got my Bearclaw/Braz Kronie earlier this year, it looks like my top could be from the same piece of Sitka...very cool!

The tone is magical, and the soundport enhances everything

Shad-very jealous of your case

Not just because it's my guitar, but that's what I thought when I first unboxed the guitar... "I've never seen such a pretty guitar." I really wanted to post on another thread where the person said, describe your "Dream" guitar, and I wanted to post two pics of this, and say, "this is it and I've found it."

Though Trevor did the work, I put in all that I ever wanted and thought was nice from the beautiful guitars on this site and others.

Thanks for all the compliments!

Yes, the Kronbauer Guitars logo is embroidered. I don't have a closer picture, but I'll see if I can take another pic and I'll post it. It's a beautiful case. The climate control system is pretty well executed as well. For the price, it's really a good buy. Taylor uses the same case for the R. Taylor line.

Default Some pics of the case

As promised, here are some pics of the Ameritage case:

Close-up of the stitched logo on the neck side of the case

Stitched "Case by Ameritage" on the lower right hand bout

You can see the solid hardware as well as the personalized nameplate that says "Exclusively Crafted Case for Your Name"

Very solid padding (another shot of the guitar, couldn't resist!)

You can see the hygrometer that's velcroed to the "top" left-hand side and the temperature controlled compartment that has two release holes.

Here's a close-up of the temperature control compartment. Depending on whether you need to humidify or de-humidify, you either activitate the humidifying agent (the moisturizer looking bottle) or put the dehumidifying little bags in the supplied red velvet bag.

Hope this helps on those considering an Ameritage case (well worth it in my opinion)

+1 on the Ameritage. It's the case that comes with R Taylor orders.

"Nice guitar", just doesn't cut it. Like coming across a perfectly preserved '58 Vette and calling it a "nice car." Like "Guernica" is a nice painting.

Congratulations, Pangpang.
