You will in March and you can play it too! The headstock is a surprise for my wife and I asked John not to take a picture of it as I did not want there to be any chance for her to find out about it before I get the guitar. I am going to have her open it. It is a secret that I have kept now for almost a year it seems, maybe 8 months, I don't remember when John and I talked about it. Trust me, it was not easy to get done and even I have not seen it in the finished state, but the guitar will be here in March for B.I.G.(er) and you can have a go!

Thanks to Craig Lavin as well as another artist who did some ink work for us on the inlay. She was also fantastic, but I do not know if she wants her name out there, so I will leave it at that.

Looks fantastic, John and Tom--kudos and congrats!

Can't wait to see and play it in March.

Hope you take a video of the big reveal!

Thanks Jamie. I personally like the way you take chances with different kinds of wood in your builds.

I sure hope you are not in the way of all that California fire. I just had an order from LMI postponed because the workers had to evacuate the area.

Smile So far so good for us

Sending prayers for all those in the way of the fires. Our power is shut off at home but knock wood, all is OK in the mountains east of San Diego, where we live.

Thanks for thinking of us!

This guitar is an absolute knock out! Nice NICE NICE STUFF!!!!

Woohoo

Paul

Well, this one has been a pretty slow process, not John's fault, but I bought it when he was getting it ready for a show, so we put it on the back burner so he could get a replacement ready for the show. Then with all the inlay work and shipping things back and forth and issues with one aspect of the inlay not involving Craig or the previously mentioned artist, they were great, and me needing some time for funds...now John is just waiting for me to be in one spot long enough to ship it. This whole working stuff is a bummer. This last delay is all on me.

So, after this long, another couple of weeks is not too bad to wait, but I am pretty anxious to see it in person and tune her up! Isn't that Persimmon cool not to say quite unique?

What a gorgeous guitar with some amazing qualities! Love everything about it. Congratulations Tom!

Upon receiving this one and the Sexauer, I think we can all agree that Tom has ALL the candy .

I'm sure you deserve them Tom. I only worked for 49 years, which is probably why, if I want a guitar like that I'll have to make it myself.
