Default Amazing opportunity for Taylor solidbody fans

I've wrestled with this for a couple days. I was toying with getting another SB - I grew to dislike the hollowed pickguard version of mine from years ago and wanted a direct-mount-pickup version..

I came across this.

This is simply my favorite color and my favorite pickup combination.

And the most gorgeous headstock!

It is, apparently, brand new old stock from Taylor authorized dealer. This means you could buy the last brand new Taylor Solidbody on Earth.

sigh.....

GAS is a terrible thing, but they are asking way too much for it. They told me they are just trying to clear it out and they paid 1200 EU when they bought it and they just want to break even.

Someone (else) buy this so I'm not tempted!

Sweet looking guitar, Fazool. Great colour. Works out to $2,000 Canadian though.

Wow! But I have heard that the whammy bar mechanism is fragile and Taylor no longer supports the product including replacement parts. Hope that's no true.

Wow I wish they still made the Taylor solidbody guitars. For whatever reason that was one of the company's few failures. However, they are really great guitars and great looking. I thought they played beautifully but I guess they didn't sell well just like the Martin, Takamine, and Ovation electrics didn't sell that great.
