Default Using delay in mixing fingerstyle

Hi all

I have increasingly found that the mixes of several players that I enjoy have an element of delay used in addition to reverb.

Some example might be anything by Mau Lao, most of Andy Mckee’s stuff and also Martin Tallstrom - see two examples below.

I am keen to understand how best to use the delay and what sort of settings might be optimal - it is a complex effect to set up I find and has a fair few variables.

I am keen to hear from any of you who have used it in this way.

Thanks in advance.

Ask Mau, either through a message or here on this thread. I'm sure he'll share with you what he does.
