Ooh ooh wouldn’t that be sweet! I’ve been tracking one of my very favorite classical pianists Helene Grimaud who had a super busy performance schedule for last year , all of course cancelled, but just today I see she is participating in a music festival in early Fall unfortunately in Europe, not quite ready to go there just yet.

Good for the Woodstock community! Maybe normal is approaching soon in NY.

We are told a Southern Ohio shindig that usually permits 2000 is now limited to 400. I wonder if it will be another year for this area before we can all gather ... like normal people.

Howdy, Folks! Yes, we're going to give it a try! Plenty of uncertainties remain, of course, but we're hoping that by late October we can safely gather again, and at this point we're planning for fewer exhibitors and reduced capacity (hopefully 75%?), with continued health and safety regulations in place regarding masks, social distancing, sanitizing, etc. Bill Frisell & Tony Scherr will headline our Saturday night String Sampler concert at the Woodstock Playhouse (other acts and details to be announced). We have a very special Special Exhibit in the works. The renovations to our venues by new owner over the past two years are spectacular, and we look forward together to hopefully being able to welcome everybody back! Here's a "Welcome Back" video tour of the Bearsville Theater, presented by John Sebastian and Bearsville Center owner Lizzie Vann: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FEpT8INVn8&t=82s

I know the Woodstock Invitational was cancelled last year, but it looks to be on for this year. 2022 Woodstock Invitational Luthiers Showcase. The line-up of exhibitors looks great, and it looks like Dustin Furlow and Matt Thomas are going to be very busy demo’ing guitars!
