2020 Stephen Kinnaird Deep Body OM
Consigned to Will Lowe at Lowe Vintage Instrument Co. Burlington, NC (336) 524-6250
Steven Kinnaird combines top-notch workmanship with a unique, modern construction method to produce a beautiful instrument with a wide array of tonal options available to the player. It features a Sitka spruce top, bird's-eye maple back & sides, ebony fretboard & bridge, 5-piece laminated neck, & Gotoh mini tuners. 1 3/4" nut width, 2 1/4" bridge spacing. Cosmetic appointments include curly maple body binding, Koa soundhole rosette, and a Katalox headplate with mother-of-pearl logo. The guitar is in great condition, with only light signs of play wear. There is only one finish ding of note on the top below the bridge, and some small string marks near the truss rod cover. Tonally, the deep body gives the guitar a bit of extra projection and a strengthened bass range, but the guitar is very responsive to the player's attack. Comes with a professionally-installed K&K Pure Mini pickup and the original TKL hardshell case. $4295 (AGF price) shipped Conus.

I've spent the night and played with it's mahogany sister, and it was phenomenal guitar. I am told that the maple (this one) was even better. They sure know how to build them in Nacogdoches.

Quote:
Mine is absolutely the best guitar I own, or have ever played (not that I have a ton of experience with high-end guitars). People react with disbelief when I tell them that my Martin OM-28V comes in second to my Kinnaird. It has also cured my GAS, at least until I win a stupid amount of money in the lottery. Given that that guitar would cost out over $6600 new, someone will be getting a great guitar at a great price!

Nacodoches Goodness
Steve and Ryan build Killer instruments.
Bumping this to put Maple beauties from both halves of the Kinnaird conglomerate at the top together for a brief shining moment. BOLOTS Paul
