It was going fairly easy so I took off the entire board. That way I don't have to mess with too much steam finding the joint.

I make my joints tight and this one was stubborn, but when it went, it went, popped right up and out and landed on the bench, whish I had a video.

Default Collateral Damage

I have never seen this before, a pearl dot looks like it has melted and bubbled up.

After a week off and getting my first Pfizer Pfix, I have decided to put a Rosewood fretboard on this guitar.

Isn't the fretboard over the sound hole like that going to block the sound?

Default Getting There

I am getting closer to my target of .425" clearance from top of fretboard to soundboard. This bridge is thicker than my previous bridges so the .055" clearance above those bridges will translate to the same neck angle with this thicker bridge.
