Guitar One Review of K20CE
I just saw this on the Taylor website.
And I had to post it here. I love my K20CE. The June issue of Guitar One includes a sweet review of the K20ce. From all angles -- the guitar’s aesthetic beauty and immaculate craftsmanship, its bold new dreadnought voice, and the responsiveness of the Expression System -- reviewer Douglas Baldwin was clearly smitten. “No matter how hard you hit it, the highs remain crisp and detailed, and the bass feels like a BMW’s tricked out audio system,” he comments. Later, he confesses: “Reviewing this guitar was not easy. Since its volume so greatly surpassed that of any guitar I currently own, I had nothing to compare it to.”

While I have no reason to doubt this particular reviewer's impressions, I'm always a little suspicious of reviews in guitar magazines. Its been many years since I've seen a really critical (bad) review. That could be because the quality of guitars these days is so good, or it could be the magazines' desire to appease their advertisers (or potential advertisers). But I've definitely played some lousy guitars in stores recently, so I tend to think it's the latter.

I dont know about the review but I would sure like to have a guitar that would live up to it.
