Interesting, very interesting! I sure wouldn't want the job of changing the strings.
 I have enough trouble with 6 or 12 strings.MAKE it a GREAT day!!!  Marge

Actually, unbeknownst to the Taylor Forum members, this was the final design demanded by JR for the forum guitar. Now you can understand why Taylor shelved the idea.
