It's really player dependent. But for me personally on classical I go 5/32nd at Low-E down to 3 or 4/32 at High-E.

Flamenco I set up lower just because it's supposed to be that way. 3/32nd all around maybe a hair lower on High-E.

Action at nut... I never measure. I fret the string on the wrong side of the 2nd fret, then tap the first fret to see how much deviation there is. I'm guess-timating I set this at anywhere from 3 thousands of an inch up to close to 8 thousandths for the G-string (which loves to create trouble).

Regarding 12th fret action:

Classical:

High (concert) - 3.5mm-4.5mm (high E / Low e)
Low - 2.5mm - 3.25mm
Mid - 3mm-4mm

Flamenco:

2.5mm-3.5mm (high)
2.0mm-2.25mm (low)

Just semantics... It's not "supposed" to be that way, rather, it is "preferred" that way and helps allow for fast playing flamenco techniques. ;-)
