12 string search over!
Its not a Taylor, but a 2001 Martin D12-28.
I found a nice deal on one at Buffalo Bros. Here are some pics. It should be at my house on Monday! http://www.buffalobrosguitars.com/bu...228/index.html |

Well, I guess it's okay that it's not a Taylor....
Seriously, that looks like a beauty. Congratulations, and let us know more when it comes home.

Had a D12-20. Just a wonderful, wonderful 12! Yours will be even better.
Congrats!

Congrats!
Taylor007, I have an extreme soft spot for 12-string guitars... they've been my primary guitar for years... and until a week ago none of them were Taylors. Whether or not your choice is a Taylor, enjoy it! Just don't neglect that 614ce too much. Play on!

12 string guitars
I've been playing Martin 6 strings for awhile now, and had a Seagull S12+. When it was time to upgrade I had every intention of getting a Martin 12 string, but the only ones I could find at a store were the D1-12. I didn't want something at the low end. I found a Taylor 355 at a store, went back to play it 2 days in a row, and bought it. That was 3 weeks ago and I have a hard time putting it down. I love the tone, playability, everything. But I still wish I could find a Martin D16-12 or D28-12 to play. But maybe that would be a bad idea now.
