Default Nylon strings squeak at the saddle

***Update***
Thanks for all the suggestions, sooooo I hit the saddle with a bit of wd40 and Voila - no squeak!
But I DO appreciate the suggestions
Thank you

_______
Looking for some insights as to how to remedy my nylon strings FROM squeaking AT from the saddle - when played. Always my nylon strings.
Is there a lubricant I should use?
Replace the strings?
Replace the saddle?

Suggestions and wisdom appreciated!

Never heard a squeak coming from the saddle string contact point. Sometimes a buzz sound with perhaps some whiney sound. Usually a little fine sandpaper takes care of that. Many causes of a strange noise can sound louder near the bridge however.

I have heard squeaking sounds emanating from the bridge area. That has been from one or more loose braces.

Whether or not that is the squeaking sound the OP hears, I can't say. You can try pressing gently on various areas of the top and listen carefully for any sound that results from pressing. There shouldn't be any. If there are, it could be from one or more loose braces.
