We started playing disc golf at least 15 years ago. There were several courses around Anchorage in various parks, and there at least eight courses I know of in the Boise area, mostly in public parks. We even bought a couple of metal goals from Costco to keep in our sizable backyard. Unfortunately two years ago next week I fell and destroyed my right rotator cuff, and I have not even tried to throw a frisbee since. Maybe when the weather gets warmer Iíll give it a shot.

Disk golf is great fun and you donít have to take it seriously at all. But you can get involved in tournaments and be competitive if you wish.

I recall playing a game we called "frolf" in '73. "Holes" were trees, fenceposts, etc.

Disc golf is fun, there is definitely a learning curve as tossing the discs is rather different than tossing a regular frisbee.
