Help! Major Tonedexter Issue!

Love the sound of the unit.....but....I’m playing, getting a clean, perfect sound when all of a sudden- an ear splitting SCREECH comes from the unit. Lights cycle and go crazy....only way to stop it is to unplug the power

I’m pretty sure the unit is defective, but if anyone has insight maybe I could save myself the trouble of a return.

Send us a support request. We've seen this when using power supplies that were on the edge of not being beefy enough.

Thanks so much for your reply James. I’m using a Truetone 1 spot CS6. TD was in 9/18v100mA.

You need at least 500mA at 9v...
