Default New Mackie Thump Go

At $399 this might be the least expensive Battery operated Bluetooth PA. 8" woofer, Very basic, 2 channel, no reverb. App EQ not very effective but has responsive sliders with mute on every channel. Have only tried Bluetooth backing tracks but surprising results: Max volume before clipping 100dB. Thats louder than both the JBL Compact and the Bose S1 Pro! Zero hiss at max volume. At max volume it stayed clean with no distortion. Bass about average. Of course the Bose at $650 has a better/smoother SQ, with mids that sound more Hifi.

Sounds good, but no reverb may be a deal-breaker!
